Two Sundays ago Frank and I joined a few other parents in dedicating our little one to the church. We do not personally believe in infant baptism, but this is the Baptist equivalent. It's basically stating that we as parents promise to raise our child in church and teach her Biblical principles.
We were asked to choose a verse for the dedication and we selected Deuteronomy 6:5-9.
"Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." (NIV)
Allison was given a certificate and a really cute pink Bible from the church that has been put in her box of baby keepsakes.

I just love the picture where Frank is holding Allison and she's looking at Kristin--like she's sharing the joy of the moment just with her mommy.
Congratulations! How exciting. And by the way your family is just adorable.
