Getting Started

Hello friends and family. Since I'm not the worlds best at keeping in touch, I figured that blogging from time to time could help me stay connected a little better. I can not take credit for this idea. No, I stole it from a friend at work who made it look exciting.





What to expect:
I have what I like to call an ADD version of an obsessive personality. Therefore I assume that my blogs will be of the "feast and famine" variety. When I have nothing else to focus my attention on you will probably see a steady influx of my thoughts here. I'll probably let Frank post some as well. However, he is a much better writer than me, and I dont want him taking over!

About:
Frank and I moved to Melissa, TX about 7 months ago. We have fallen in love with our home, our neighbors and our new church home. In fact, we work with the youth group at First Baptist Melissa. It's something we never thought we would do, but God had other ideas for our lives. We've only been involved since February so we are still aquainting ourselves with the students, but it's been fabulous!

We have 2 adorable dogs that have been coined "Booboo and the Goat". Alex (the black/tan one) we got as a puppy 3 1/2 years ago from the pound in College Station. We picked Maggie (the goat) up at the SPCA about 6 months ago - she deserves her own personal blog, which I will get to later.

Frank works with my dad as a web marketing specialist. He is loving his job, but I'll let him post his own thoughts. I STILL work at Broadlane. It's been over 2.5 years now, and I can't believe it. I work with the contracting team, which is a nice change from the purchasing group (no comment). I have a photography business on the side that is slow getting started. I hope to have my new site launched in the next 2 weeks. More to come!
